Hang on to your diapies 90s babies because the Rugrats are officially making a comeback on Nickelodeon.

Like Tommy Pickles once said, everything’s finally back to Norman.

It’s been well over a decade since the beloved animated Nickelodeon show Rugrats went off the air and now they’re coming back bigger and better than ever. Well, maybe not bigger since Tommy and the gang are still babies, but you get the idea.

The Rugrats revival was revealed on Monday when Nickelodeon and Paramount pictures announced they’re bringing back the iconic toddlers to the small screen for a 26 episode series. BUT, that’s not all. Nickelodeon and Paramount also revealed during their big announcement that Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil, Susie, and Angelica are also set to star in a new live-action film featuring CGI characters!

Sarah Levy, the COO of Viacom Media Networks and interim president of Nickelodeon said of this revival QUOTE, “Rugrats is hands-down one of the most celebrated cartoons in TV history, and we are thrilled for a while new audience to meet these iconic characters in brand-new adventures. What was true in 1991 when the original show premiered is still true today: kids are fascinated with the world of babies. We can’t wait for today’s kids to meet Tommy, Chuckie and pals.”

The TV series and movie will also introduce a BUNCH of new characters to the mix. The last time this happened, Dil, Kimi, and Kira were introduced into our lives and I for one cannot WAIT to meet these new additions to Rugrats.

How excited are you guys for the revival of Rugrats?! Let me know all your thoughts on this in the comment section below. Then click to the right to watch another new video and don’t forget to subscribe to our channels! Thanks for watching, I’m your girl Drew Dorsey and I’ll see ya next time.
