This just may be the most thrilling piece of news that Directioners around the world have heard in YEARS. When we got wind of the words “1D”, “song”, and “secret” being used in the same sentence, we had to figure out what the heck was going on. It appears that the guys of One Direction have been dropping hints through their solo song titles this whole time and we never noticed! There is a secret association in their solo song titles linking directly to 1D song titles. And every single former and current member appear to be in on it- even Zayn.

We have Directioner @badharrold to thank for this. The fan pointed out on Twitter that many of the guy’s solo songs that have very similar song titles to previous ID songs. For example, “One Direction: ‘Drag Me Down’ Liam Payne: ‘Strip That Down’. One Direction: ‘You And I’ Niall Horan: ‘You And Me’.One Direction: ‘Hey Angel’ Harry Styles: ‘Only Angel’”. And the list goes on. Other 1D fans have been replying to this tweet pointing out additional song similarities.

So we’ve discovered this weird code between 1D songs and the member’s solo songs. WHAT DOES IT MEAN? Is it total coincidence? Are the guys being forced to title their solo music in a similar way to 1D songs? Maybe the same person is being hired to title all their songs? We could literally speculate theories about this for hours. Hopefully it means the guys are still tied to 1D and will be reuniting sometime in the future. What do you guys think this code means? Write YOUR theory down in the comments! Then click here to see fans show up to Shawn Mendes’ concert a whole year early, and don’t forget to hit that subscribe button. I’m your host Renee Shafii, I’ll catch you guys next time.
