Demi Lovato Concert CANCELED After Overdose & Fox PULLS Beat Shazam Ep

New & Upcoming

As I’m sure you guys all know, Demi Lovato was rushed to the hospital yesterday after a drug overdose.

The singer is okay thankfully, and her representative released a statement saying QUOTE: “Demi is awake and with her family who want to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers and support. Some of the information being reported is incorrect and they respectfully ask for privacy and not speculation as her health and recovery is the most important thing right now.”

There’s still a lot of unanswered questions about what went down yesterday. It’s unclear what drugs she took, or who was with her when it happened, but what we do know is that she’s going to need time away from the spotlight to recover.

Unfortunately, that means her Tell Me You Love Me tour is being put on hold for now. The singer had one more stop in Atlantic City before she was supposed to take the tour to Central and South America, but that concert has now been cancelled. Livenation is supposedly working to bring in a different artist for the Thursday show, but fans can still get a refund if they want.

The singer was also supposed to appear in a pre-recorded episode of “Beat Shazam” on FOX last night, but the network decided to air a different episode in light of the news.

Although there haven’t been any other announcements regarding the rest of the tour, it doesn’t seem likely that she’ll continue. As sad as it is for fans, Demi’s health is obviously what’s most important right now.
