We’re recapping the 7 BEST Moments from the 2018 MTV Movie and TV Awards, right here on News Feed.

From Black Panther’s BIG wins to Tiffany Haddish slaying her hosting duties, this year’s MTV Awards were a hit.

Host Tiffany Haddish kicked off the show with a hilarious Black Panther skit. Thanks to the magic of CGI, Tiffany implanted herself into the world of Wakanda and challenged King T’Challah for the coveted role of MTV Movie and TV Awards host…and spoiler alert: she came out on top.

Another awesome moment from the show came when Love Simon stars Keiynan Lonsdale and Nick Robinson won the “Best Kiss” award. Keiynan gave a beautiful speech in which he said QUOTE, “You can live your dreams and wear dresses…You can live your dreams and kiss the one that you love, no matter what gender they are. You can live your dreams and believe in magic.”

Our next favorite moment from the show came when Michael B. Jordan won best villain and threw some MAJOR shade at Roseanne Barr. Roseanne’s revived TV show was canceled recently due to some offensive and racist comments she made on Twitter, which prompted Michael to say this when he accepted his award:

Another unforgettable moment from the show came when Nick Jonas slayed his performance of “Anything” with DJ Mustard.

A particularly powerful moment during the show came when Millie Bobby Brown spoke out against bullying during her acceptance speech for Best Performance for Stranger Things.

Millie’s anti-bullying comments were definitely a direct response to all of the bullying she recently received on Twitter, which prompted her to leave the social media app altogether. But she did tell fans during her MTV awards speech QUOTE, “If you need a reminder of how worthy you are, and to rise above the hate, message me on Instagram.” Could this girl be any better of a role model?!

And speaking of Millie’s big win, Stranger Things 2 also won Best Show. Unfortunately Millie couldn’t be present at the show to accept the award along with her castmates due to a split kneecap – ouch – but Sadie, Finn, and Gaten nailed the group acceptance speech and gave a huge shout out to fans for all their support for the show.

And last but not least, we could not contain our excitement when Black Panther won Best Movie, presented by Lady Gaga.

And a bonus favorite moment that made us fall in love with Chadwick Boseman EVEN MORE, was during his Best Hero speech. Chadwick brought real life hero James Shaw Jr. to the awards show and presented him with his Best Hero award. The Black Panther actor explained that James Shaw Jr. was the hero who fought off a gunman who opened fire in a waffle house in Tennessee in April of this year. James was clearly touched by the gesture, and was given a standing ovation as he accepted the award.
